Supporting Communities and People - Please join us and help if you can
It's been another challenging year for many. Families and communities have experienced issues and hardships, from fuel poverty to food shortage and general cost of living increases, that many of us can't even begin to imagine.
At McLanachan Transport, we regularly support those in need of assistance wherever we can, and often backed by the generosity of our employees, partners and customers.
This year, amongst other good causes, we did our bit to help Clyde Valley Parent Group, and we're calling on you to join us and lend your support. Last year, they provided 67 boxes containing warm pyjamas, a selection box, toiletries and a small game for a young person aged 6yrs–17yrs depending on the information from the school. They also provided a £20 supermarket voucher for each family, which was 36 in total, alongside a family food parcel.
Helping others wherever we can create community spirit, and we applaud the work and effort of the Clyde Valley Parent Group. I'm sure you'll agree that every child deserves to experience love, joy, and hope this Christmas, along with some basics.
We want to make our network aware of the work they do and this particular programme and ask, wherever you can, to support them. Please consider contributing to their community outreach programme, which aims to provide a Christmas Eve box for impoverished young people in our community.
If you can help in any small way, please contact Tammy Cahill, CVHS Parent Council, on 07726 904182 or Clyde Valley High School directly to discuss on 01698 375011.
